I'm MOSTLY Liberal when it comes to wages and healthcare issues and some economic issues. I think that the Gap between the rich and poor is unjustified and that anyone who works 40 hours a week should at least earn enough to live on regardless of their line of work. Its not right that multi-million/billion corporations don't pay their employees living wages (I don't believe in Welfare as a carreer choice). In my opinion there should be free healthcare for all minors. I don't think that they should be held responsible for their parents lack of health insurance.

When it comes to MOST moral issues though, I am a Conservative. I am vehimately pro-life and am against gay marriage. Its none of my business (nor should it be) if someone is a homosexual though. However, I don't believe that drug addicts should be sent to Prison. I think that they should be treated instead of incarcerated.

What do you believe?

I'm mostly conservative...especially on fiscal issues. I feel like those of us who work shouldn't have to pay taxes to keep up those too lazy to bother working. People also shouldn't be rewarded for having a bunch of kids they can barely care for. I didn't choose to have those children. I shouldn't have to keep them up.

And for the love of God, this ridiculousness about immigration...they should not be allowed to stay if they aren't legal. It's not our job to keep up immigrants, either. If they wanted to come here so badly, they should make their own way, not depend on the American taxpayers to do it for them.

However, when it comes to social issues, I tend to be slightly more moderate. While I am extremely against abortion, I feel that if gays want to marry, let them. I know straight couples who shouldn't have been allowed to marry, much less have children, but because they happen to be heterosexual, they could.

Oddly enough, I'm very close to you. My views on wages and healthcare are the same, and I agree that drug addicts should be treated instead of put in prison.

But I completely disagree with two of your other points. I am pro-choice and I am for gay marriage. Considering that I'm a gay man, the latter would make sense.

I believe that gay men and women should be able to be married with the benefits that straight marriages get as well. I have the fortune of living in Massachusetts so my "partner" and I could get legally married. It is not the same though- we still have to fill out different taxes, etc.

And as for abortion, I am for the system we have in America now- the woman has the right to decide to terminate the pregnancy within three months.

And on an issue like immigration, I believe we should make them citizens. Make them tax-payers, and then give them a fine for not paying them before.

I suppose you could call me Liberal.

That's a loaded question.

I am mostly liberal. I believe I should be able to get healthcare from anywhere and not have to pay over $100 to get it. I feel that I should be able to put whoever I want on my health insurance (because I know alot of people that need it!). I believe polgamy and weed should be legalized -- neither truly hurt anyone and if everyone's an adult that should be all that's needed. I believe in helping the poor, giving people what they need to survive. I believe in assessing who needs stuff on a case by case basis -- because not every single black mother of five is trying to live off of the government -- some of them can't get a decent job that will feed all of them at the same time so they need the help. I don't believe in the war and I believe we should have stomped a mudhole in Afghanistan when we had the chance. I believe that dubya makes the rest of the world hate us.

i am a conserative. i agree with you about minors having health care but not all adults should. adults need to get off their butts and get a job and support themselves. i cant stand it when i see people living off welfare while hard working americans are struggling to get by. i especially hate it when illegals come here and live for free off hard working americans.
I too do not believe in abortion which i call murder cause that's what it is. I'm also against gay marriage, i think its wrong and its not what marriage was meant for. now as far as drug addicts it depends what they've done if they should be in prison or not. if their stealing for money for drugs then they should be in prison. if you break the law then you need to be in prison. i feel they chose the drug lifestyle they should pay the consequences for choosing that life.

meh.. I'd say I was liberal.. but like you it depends on the topic. I don't think abortion should be used for birth control - but I don't think it's my business to decide for anyone whether or not they're adequate to be birthing children.
Especially since I'll probably be paying for the hellions with my taxes.
I could care less about gay marriage - it doesn't affect me. It doesn't affect you - who cares.
Religion and politics are supposed to be separate, most of the people who give two craps about it are bible thumpers who think it's morally wrong. Why? Because it's against *your* religion? WHO CARES. Move on.. there's more important hurdles in life than who's packing fudge in whose rear.
I think our prison system is too lax. I don't want to be paying for some ****** rapist to get a degree. He should be living off bread and water in a dingy rat infested hole for all I care.

So.. guess I'm liberal more so than conservative in most respects. *shrug*

I have a liberal stance on most social issues except abortion. I'm gay, so naturally I support full gay rights. But when it comes it abortion, I don't think it should be illegal, but I don't think it should be used as a method of convenient birth control.

I'm not as familiar with economic issues though.

Tidy conservative.

Wages & Heathcare ... hmmm the govt.'s biffed it with roads, bridges, schools, and social security ... there's no way in HELL I'd trust the govt. with my health (or my families health).

I agree with you about the prison systems ... drug addicts (and other mental morphia's) need treatment. Prison (like other govt. programs) is FAILING ... it needs an overhaul!!!
