In 1962, Wayne Cochran, but wasnt a hit. The biggest and best known version is 1965, from J. Frank Wilson & The Cavaliers. I have this record.

"Last Kiss" is a song that was written by Wayne Cochran in 1962 and originally performed by Wayne Cochran & the C.C. Riders, although their version of the song had little success.
In 1964, J. Frank Wilson and the Cavaliers had the first real commercial success with the song.
