I have some friends where we always split things evenly - and others that NEVER have any money on them - even when we specifically meet for lunch!
May be divesting myself of some spongers soon!

I footed the bill for so many for a very long time, I have wised up, but it took a long time....but I never have anyone foot my bill ever, I thing that is terrible.....I love to pay my own way...

No. With friends, we share the cost. I ALWAYS foot the bill for my sons and their girlfriends though

nope, depending on how much of us is out eating, we just divide the total cost by how many people are there..seems fair to me..except when you have that one friend that orders an appetizer for herself, drinks, the most expensive meal on the menu, dessert, and then coffee after..lol..then all together their meal cost like $75, when everyone elses is $15-$20..then it's not fair..

too often i get stuck with it... just so happens that everyone is always broke and they know that i always have money to grab the tab, which i dont mind doing as long as we had a good time...
