I contribute with voting. I also have called my congressman and emailed them. I have sent emails to the White house, in fact, I must be on their "watch" list. I also believe that they have used or have at least contemplated using my ideas. Never have gotten a response back from the democrats and only one from the republicans, that was Mike Rogers.

Mostly it is entertainment, but I have also been exposed to articles, videos and ideas that have made me think. I don't always change my mind, but I think it is important to be exposed to differing opinions.

I do contribute to my political beliefs. I vote; I communicate with my reps; I am active in a local group of people with differing beliefs who discuss props and candidates; and I contribute to causes that I believe in.

Considering the number of empty-headed questions and sophomoric answers, yes, Yahoo Answers is a waste of time.

I contribute my time, energy, and money.

I file petitions and organize phone protests on issues I find relevant...

And like Dennis K, I come HERE for entertainment.

No. I've had people tell me that I've given them a different perspective. It USUALLY is a waste of time, but there are occasionally open-minded people who want to learn. I've even learned a thing or two from cons.
