And that is what I love about Lupe.

His stuff is so deep sometimes that you are stuck wondering wtf. I need to do research to understand this! He forces you to expand your knowledge. The downside is that this Complexity forces him into another arena and can almost gurantee that he won't see the main stream play like many other rappers unless he comes out with another "Kick Push" kinda record with a nice beat and hook.

And the Kid represents the CHI What else could you ask for?

I don't think he should dumb it down, It does make sense in the end. Hip hop is like great literature, people draw different things from it, things that the artist may not have intended. Plus the concepts the same, its simple ideas presented in a complex way. These rappers aren't university professors, or great philosophers, they're people with a fairly average education, you just have to remember that when you're listening to their songs.

No way! I love him! He is different than the norm and that is what makes him unique and to be honest if he were to change in any way I think his fans would loose respect for him. I definetly feel that he needs to keep doing what he is doing!! Much Respect for Fiasco!!!!!!!!!!!1

No, you need to bring yourself to his level. Why should he do what other ignorant and uneducated wanna be street thugs/rappers do and play to the lowest common denominator?

Educate yourself, dont ask others to play dumb.
