My 25lb dog leaped up when I was sitting and hit my belly about an inch up and over from my belly button. Would this do any damage?

First of all, your uterus would still be well below the belly button at 6 weeks so he probably landed right on your stomach. Ouch all the same!

Now, if you're really concerned, the best thing you can do is call your OBGYN or Doctor and let them know what happened.

What I'd be more concerned about at this point is stopping the behavior now. While your dog probably did no harm this time, it's not something you want to be happening repeatedly throughout your pregnancy. 25 pounds is alot of weight, and you don't want that slamming down on your uterus. If your dog does this often, you'll need to look into training methods ASAP.

Good luck!

at six weeks the uterus is still below the pubic bone so you should be fine. But be CAREFUL, later on it could be a big problem. I have a 10 lb dog that likes to do that, so I pretty much always have a pillow over my belly just in case, and my hands a permenantly placed in front protecting myself if I'm sitting/laying down.

No this won't hurt the baby. At this point you baby is well protected. Law down and rest. As long as you don't start spotting or cramping everythign is ok

Not unless you were seriously injured by the dog. Your baby is very well protected in the womb.

No baby is well protected and your baby is about the size of a grain of rice.
