No it is not an STD. Carpel tunnel syndrome is a RSI (repetitive strain injury) soft tissue injury to muscles and tiise of the wrist area.

No, it is not considered an std.
If you are developing carpel tunnel syndrome, which I doubt you truly are, try heating your wrist ,or wrists depending upon the size, before and after with a heat pad or hot wash cloth.

A disease (STD = sexually transmitted disease) and a syndrome are two different things. One is communicable and is treated with antibiotics, the other only affects you and is treated with physical therapy or surgery.

Well, since STD stands for Sexually Transmitted Disease, and nothing was TRANSMITTED, it cannot be. carpal tunnel syndrome is not a disease, anyway, it is a syndrome or condition.
