Is it time to watch what you ask or answer?

there is an influx of trolls all over yahoo answers.
tara j the college student with at least 7 accounts is out causing as much hate and discontent as he/she can. If you see something inappropriate, racist or hate crime- report them, please.

It hangs out in society and culture in Lesbian, Gay, polls & surveys and Religion perhaps many others. Goes by Layla L. or lala L., uses the intial J quite often, has ask questions in the past for help in name selections with the name Tarae as a last night and stated it was prounnounced Tara, also ask questions for help on info for college type reports. So I deduced most likely a college student and is on after class and some evenings. Mostly afternoons. Probably would be embarrassed if friends or family caught asking so juvenile, racist and homophobic so is only on when others are at work or in class.

Know what you mean. I don't like to report, but yesterday did it twice. This person thinks that just by abbreviating the cursing, that it's fine. Think it was one of Wally's questions, and then one of Isotope's also. And all the thumbs down again....still think that option should be alleviated, anyway. Just gives these wee-brained people something to do, since they're not smart enough to come up with anything of value to actually say.

I always try to watch what I say, given fair warning some time
ago. I do report when I see ranting, or potty humor, or words
innapropriate to any forum of a raw sexual nature. It's best
if the younger set would be more respectful of one another,
and not just seniors. People tend to be judged if they use
language that is objectionable and also breaks the laws listed
for YA, for what can be viewed by adolescents.

Hi S.C.! I ran into her(?) she was asking basically for the script notes for a book she had not read, I gave her a site to explore but not the answer and told her she needed to do her own homework because learning was the journey, or something kind like that. I have never been thumbed down I don't think but then again, I'm rather new at this so I don't know how to tell if I have been ...can you tell me how I know if I have been? I will keep my eye out for her and Yes! She was wearing a Pink cowboy hat! Thanks for the warning!

I think it's very wise to be careful here. I recently deleted all my contacts, made my questions and answers private and do not allow email anymore. The angry people (trolls?) using Y!A can ruin your day. They spew hatred and disguise it as an answer to your question.

By the way, I have wondered if the trolls were young, old or in-between. Do malcontents start young and continue getting meaner as they age? It's a pity that they get their jollies in the Senior Citizen section on Y!A.

Tara J runs rampant in Other Culture forum, and here. Sometimes I think the person is called Granny T or something like that. If I find the other names I will warn you.

Its very much time to be carefull, the trolls are out in force and reporting everything, I told one off not too long ago, she wears a pink cowboy hat and she's now on the seniors site, she promptly blocked me, though what good she thinks that will do, I really don't know

What is interesting is that she blocked me as soon as she set up this profile, so guess who it probably is?

I have never seen her posts or responded to them. So its interesting who she blocked right out of the gate isnt it?

So this is someone who has come back with another profile, which brings her up to about ten that is using on here now.

I guess the original one was banned and at least two of the other ones she was using.

She seems to like the name Tara and has used others that start with Tara - and then adds to them

I definitely will be on the lookout for these ' freaks of nature'
and report them accordingly. What a terrible waste of our time though I'm thinking. How can we keep them in their place? ( Thanks for the warning ) eve t

I have reported a few nasty answers but I haven't seen this one. I'll be on the look out. People that get their "kicks" like that are just showing their stupidity. You can't fix stupid! Don't bother waging a war of words with the unarmed.

Pretty much, just look at some of the answers I have gotten in the last few days. I think I will be spending more time at the new site.
