Hello. Lambast means to tongue-lash, or speak harshly to a person / people.The person who is talking harshly ( lambasting) the other person/people is usually furious with something done. This can be explained by using the following examples: The manager lambasted his employees for taking leave without seeking permission. 2. The president lambasted people who used government funds for their own enrichment and not for the benefit of the people. 3.
