I dont think special rights are a fair characterization. The problem is simple really. Have real borders, enforce all the current illegal immigration laws. No one gets in without proper documentation/background check. I dont see why we have to limit freedoms for Americans to feel safe when all the proper laws are im place to ensure our safety.

Because we live under the rule of law. It's always been that way.
If we don't maintain our own standards of rule of law, then the law can be abused...and then we become the very thing we despise.
Basically because I don't want the government to suddenly turn around and call me a terrorist or insurrectionist just because I say don't happen to like the current president.
Wow...lots of opposition to the rule of law. Didn't know one of our country's bedrock principles was so unpopular.
Come on. Put these guys on trial, let them take the stand, and they will proudly tell you that they hate America, that they gladly did it and they will do it again. Then, put 'em in line for the chair.
That's the kicker in this thing. I'd bet they'll gladly tell you they did it and they'd do it again.
