Does "bustdowns" mean slutty? I don't know why. I think that has become more prominent in the last 7-10 years personally. I don't get it completely. Maybe it's just the typical answer of "society." Dressing skanky and slutty are kind of "in" to most people and come Halloween, they can use that as an excuse to get REALLY extreme with it, and nobody can say anything.
Chalk it up to the demoralization of society. In another 15 years or so, people are just going to be walking around in the nude and fornicating in the open. Sick if u ask me.

I've never heard the term "bustdown" before, but I'll deduce from your tone and the endless fear-mongering and derogatory comments I've seen here on Yahoo! Answers that you're complaining girls are dressing too revealingly on Halloween. The answer is simple: There's nothing wrong with it. The only people who have a problem with it are women who are too scared to dress like that or men who are afraid they won't be able to control their horny urges around such women and may commit a crime.
The human body is a beautiful natural thing and there's no reason to hide it from others, be ashamed, think it's dirty or any other nonsense. Showing your body doesn't imply you're a whore nor that you have low standards for your sexual partners. It merely implies you're healthy, comfortable with yourself and others and confident in your safety.
That anyone might attack you sexually because you reveal yourself is a preposterous injustice that every man and woman should stand up and denounce.
"Keep your hands to yourself is what I teach my kid," along with "mind your own business." Both of those go both ways.
Think about what you're teaching your daughters when you tell them they have to cover their bodies because it makes guys have "dirty" sexual thoughts? How dare you! Put 'em in a burqua and get it over with.

I haven't heard of 'bustdowns' before, but I'm going to caution you to not simplify it to 'all girls'.

It's not healthy my friend above. They just want attention... and they could catch a cold, pneumonia, or only God knows what else.
