I was not going to write in to your question but after reading abc_123 answer I thought I would, what he said is so true the drug user doesn't realizes his condition until its too late,
My son's life at this time is destroyed he's beginning to see what drugs have done to his life but at this point in the game, he's so deep into his addictions he can't seem to help himself even if he tried. Drug have overtaken him.
It's very hard for me his mother and family members to see
him self destructing right before our eyes.
Now his girlfriend is saying that he's getting paranoid, and
even hearing voices I am thinking this means the drugs is totally destroying and eating up his mind.
I've just given you a bit of the surface for there is so much more tradegy in this story.
If you are even tempted to use drugs please take heed to all this peoples stories and turn the other way.
And please stay away from those that indulgein drugs also.
I hope you will be one of the ones that not only listens but that takes heed.

Any kind of drugs does no good to anyone . They hurt you, your surroundings and the society .
Offcourse there is a part of the world who think its a fashion, But by thinking that they are making fool of themselves . By the time they realise how danerous it is, its too late So stay away from it.
SAY NO TO DRUGS ALWAYS.

I can tell you what happened to my best friend's ex-wife and child. She divorced and moved to an apartment in the same town. She had custody of the little boy. Visits were arranged.
She also had custody of a raging heroin habit. She overdosed and died at home. Her little boy was trying to wake her up. He was pretty much there all day by himself until someone came by.
Moral of the situation: she took heroin and it took her life. Now her little boy is being raised by my best friend's parents. Her parents were too old to care for a child. ALL of this was preventable.
So, her habit affected her son. Her parents, her in-laws, her ex-husband and even to an extent, myself. I'm sure the little boy misses his mother -- he just never talks about it.
With kind regards...Finn

I have a friend who smokes.
I live in a fairly closed Christian community that is obviously not used to that kind of thing. She didn't think much of it, I suppose. But it hurt me and quite a few of my friends to know that she wouldn't listen.
We honestly, honestly talk to her about it because we care. And everytime she admits to us that she had a smoke something is tearing at -our- lungs and forces out a sigh.
What can we do? The choice is hers. But it really does hurt us, because we don't want to see her like that.
I hope that helps.

This means that it affects people around you, as in if you start taking drugs you will lose your firends and they will start becoming depressed.
