I took a school holiday in Switzerland at 16 (very enjoyable, but that's another story) and after a long rail trip across France stopped (for a fortnight) in a nunnery in Lugano. Conditions were sparse but OK and the holiday magnificent. On the first night (in a dormitory for twelve boys) I ate chocolate in bed and then, before completion(of the chocs) , slept very well. I was somewhat mortified next morning to discover a BIG patch of brown chocolate in the middle of my little bed!
At the age of 16 I did nothing, had a good day - enjoying my first ever cigar and several red wines (the latter with out accompanying teacher (Bob Roberts)) and returned to base - thankfully to find a clean bed and no recriminations. PHEW!
I guess the sheets were washed as chocolate is not, apparently, difficult to remove!

You freaks, get over yourselves..
I've done the same thing, I got chocolate over my bed because i was eating some and forgot about it and it melted all over the place... It came out normally, maybe you need stronger washing powder and a higher temp..

this works perfectly if the stain is not too old, take regular dishsoap, apply a little bit on the spot, and just rub it with a sponge, one of those that have the green forest looking color on the top, (am I too detailish or what).
