I believe it is off Aran Drive in Killiney/Loughlinstown - have pinpointed it for you here:

The 45 will take about 40 minutes from Dublin 2 (you don't say where in D2). One option might be to take the DART (electric train) to Killiney station (from Sydney Parade, D2 = about 20 mins) and walk the mile (20 mins?) to Cois Cualann (note spelling) as:

You will find more info on Dublin transport in my web site below - enjoy!

Loughlinstown is about 30 - 40 minutes away from Dublin 2depending on traffic by bus and about 15 -20 mins by taxi.
I think the number 7, the number 45 and the number 84 buses go to and from Dublin 2 and Loughlinstown.

You shouldn't be posting a full address on the net. Loughlinstown, South Co. Dublin would have been enough for people to give you the information you need. Be careful

Eh, 30mins from D2??? Try 1hr 15mins, and thats not in rush hr traffic!
Here's how you can get there: You'll have to get the number 7 bus from the city. You can get it either on O'Connell st bridge or outside Trinity college. Every second number 7 goes directly into Loughlinstown. Its the last stop so you wont have to stress about missing your stop. However, Other number 7's go to Cherrywood so you'll have to ask the bus driver when you get on.
Alternatively, you can get the Dart to Dun Laoghaire, then get the 111(which will bring you directly there-the last stop), the 45A or the 7

Bit of a distance. Add 30 minutes to other answerers to allow for rush hour times.
