Yes. And the converse is true, without freedom is helplessness.

It isn't a silly question, because the social programs touted by the left equate to a loss of freedom and result in complete dependence.

More people prefer freedom, and rights, to being controlled, and made to do as they're told. It is too bad that Liberals need the experience of being controlled, to learn about freedom, and what it means, but hell, and high water, whatever it takes to get them to SEE, may be worth the effort. Will it take another American revolution to continue to keep America free?????

It does, there's evidence of this power when people are 'allowed' to express how they feel and do what they want, in this way it empowers people.

Also, the government shows how much power freedom has when they limit or take them away from people, why would they do this if it was of no consequence?

The amount of increate power available depends on 1's ability to think outside of the box. Lack of freedom in many ways is being locked into away of thinking. True freedom comes from within.

When a boss attempts to micro manage, (S)he both waste his time & his employee's time. It indicates (S)he doesn't trust their ability to hire.

Freedom has government cheese to fund it.
If there were no taxes, there would be no freedom.

The only freedom Iraqis think about right now is
free healthcare, free U.S. military, free food
and free nation building -- but it's not free
for the next several generations of Americans.

Freedom has power to make people think they mean more than they do.

Of course. Look at America--as a free country it became the most powerful nation in history.

Are you a neocon?--I can't imagine any other American even bothering to ask such a silly question. LOL
