You tell me...

Now click on my profile and scroll down to my contacts and look for a avatar named ' you' and scroll over it... at first it might say "WHOA!" for a %, scroll away and then scroll back. Rub your eyes, yep, they aren't lying...
So how does this happen?
That's an answer for another day, my friend.
But to answer your question, obviously with a site with this many glitches, almost anything's possible.
Congrats on being one of the people who pulled it off... if not at least for a time.

It is not possible to have more than 100% best answers, but it is possible for the score box to show more, such as your 102%. That doesn't mean you have more best answers than answers you have given (100%) it only means there is a glitch in the program.
I have been trying to get them to stop counting the open questions ever since they started showing the percentage, but they don't listen.
Yahoo!Answers also allows people to use up all their points asking questions and then give minus points if they continue to ask more questions.
Edit: Todd, I saw that profile you are talking about. It is really an eye opener. 336% BA, Yikes!!

That's obviously a mistake. That -1 should be +1 because you have one question you answered that has not been resolved yet. So that should be +1 other. Get a screenshot and save it, because as soon as your outstanding question is resolved, you're going to drop back down to 100%.
I know everyone's different, but it kinda takes the fun out of Y!A if you aim for 100% best answers, don't you think? I mean, you have to delete your answers whenever too many people answer. Argghh. You can't really answer questions for the fun of it. See for example the question below:

No, it's not. I saw someone who had just started a Yahoo Answers account that had answered only one question and gotten Best Answer. He had 100% because all of the questions he had answered were Best Answers. He followed up by asking a question, essentially gloating about his 100% stat. That's why I noticed it.

No. But unless ALL of your answers are Best Answers, it is also impossible to even have 100% best answers (Yahoo always rounds down).

No it is impossible because 100% best answers means every answer you have given was voted the best answer by the asker. You cannot have more best answers than the total amount of answers you have given.

As far as I can tell, you can't delete an answer once it has been chosen best, nor a question that is resolved. Even if you could, I would imagine they would also decrement your best answer total. So, no.
Edit: hah, didn't even catch that you had 102%. It seems they don't properly decrement both fields.

No, it's a ratio of 'best answers' vs answers. The best ratio is 1/1, or 100%.
