Taco Bell meat is pre cooked and heated in a boil-in-bag

Taco Bell beans are dehydrated; hot water is added before serving...this is why they no longer call them refried beans.

cheese is pre shredded and "dusted" w/ a cellulose powder to prevent clumping for better portion control

Don't surprise me. Year back a friend of mine managed a Taco Bell, according to him that's when they used "real' food. The man now calls them "Taco Hell".

All fast food chains are seeming to go down hill. I only eat fast food when nothing else is available such as on a road trip.

I haven't eaten in a Taco Bell in over a year now. There was something seriously wrong with the food. Everytime I eat it, lets just say I have a *bad* reaction to it.

Did you get terminated from your job? So now you're going to rag on Taco Bell?

For your information, no fast food restaurants cook their food fresh. There's additives in all that stuff. Sorry, partner, I will continue to eat there when the occasion arises, thank you.

Yeah I agree with everyone that is not a big surprise. What fast food restaurant DOESN'T use precooked meats??? Alot of restaurants also use precooked soups that are boil in bag. KFC uses instant mashed potatoes, gravy, and etc. and people pay over 3 bucks for a pint of their side dishes! I knew a cook at Applebees who told me they microwave most of your dinner! I do restaurant management also and I am never surprised lol. If stuff is precooked and seems of good quality I have no prob eating it!

Yes, because I eat the non-meat options on the menu. I love Taco Bell.

I don't eat there now. But I can't say that your little 'expose' would make me any less likely to eat there - it's fast 'food', for goodness' sake; anybody who expects to get anything real at one of those places (any of them) is delusional. I don't eat at any fast food place; I've found too many unexpected surprises in my food; doesn't matter which ones - they're all bad that way. Doesn't stop people from eating there; they just ignore what they don't want to know.

The people that go to eat there want their food fast and it would take longer to have everything cooked properly and in a healthy manner. The public is well aware that if they want to eat healthier foods then fast food isn't the way to go.

Yes, because there is no such thing as natural or organic food unless you grow or raise your own food. Everything we eat has been tampered with, so what is the difference between taco bell's food.
