What a breath of fresh air that would be! Why do Christians tolerate the commercialization of Christmas? Why have non-Christians tolerated the imposition of Christian holidays for so many decades? I would say the majority is fed up with the secular Christmas and want to return to a spiritual Christmas celebrated at home and in the Church. We'd probably have a civil war here in the US if such a movement were started here!

John 16:33
33 "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
Luke 6:22
32 "Blessed are you when men hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man."
Jesus said to expect this. He never said we'd have all the advantages, and we as Christians need to quit bellyaching when we don't.
They can outlaw Christ in Britain if they want, but it won't change the fact that He is still the only way to salvation, and it won't change the fact that believers have a responsibility to follow and obey him.
Acts 5:29:
"Peter and the other apostles replied, 'We must obey God rather than men!'"
What do you think Peter or Paul would say to our whining about how the non-believing world doesn't celebrate Christmas like we think it should?

I think the picture of the woman hanging ornaments on her Christmas tree is very Christian.

Yes, there is a war on Christianity and that is PC gone extreme! It's traditional holiday, it should be accepted by everyone. Any immigrant religion is only secondary and should be treated as such.

Christmas was originally a pagan holiday which was hijacked by the Catholic Church.
Truth is, nobody really knows exactly what day Jesus was born.
So why does it matter?

I think you will feel better about yourself if you go to Britain and crusade for Christmas. Then you will truly be rapture-ready.
The article concerns a think tank's recommendation. Here in the U.S. we have scores of think tanks, and they write papers all the time. No big deal, unless the government adopts their recommendations and you can count on it, they won't.
