We haad a heavy fog last night and this morning as i returned to my home after fog lifted, I noticed that the entire yard was covered with tiny webs in the grass. We don't have a manicured lawn, it hasn't been cut recently but this is in shade so mostly the grass is short and spotty in places. These little webs are across entire lawn almost like little tufts of white cotton candy, or the fluff from cottonwood trees, but there are none around here. But they have tiny strands in patterns like webs, and each web is separate. I'm pretty observant of nature, and i have never seen this. Possibly just not visible until fog put tiny water mist on it and dawn glistend it up. Any Ideas?

"parachute spiders" When it's time for the kids to leave the nest, they exude silks that act like parachutes. wind carries them a few feet or a few miles from their home. they leave the 'chutes behind and go their spidery way. No luck finding the photo on Coast to Coast AM, it is documented there.
