I am. Nothing makes me sadder than Christmas music. Very depressing time of year!

I am. I lost my husband and there is such an empty spot everywhere. Nothing is the same anymore. We always had Christmas and Thanksgiving at my mom's, she had a severe stroke, so that is sure going to be different. I may just sit here and forget about the holidays. There will always be a void in all these things because of my husband I loved so much and my mom.........xx

Not me!! I love the holidays, the best part is the kids, looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner, with all the trimmings, the after Thanksgiving shop a thon, when they light up at the sight Christmas lights and trees, all the baking and the snow, and I love to see their faces opening presents. I love the family traditions that I am able to give them so that one day they can pass it down to their kids, and my grand babies! LOVE the HOLIDAYS

I am.
My family is scattered to the four winds, I have no money to spend and no energy or desire to shop , cook or decorate even if they were closer.
My son is in Iraq for the second holiday season in a row.
My daughter, who is nearby, is angry at everybody, including me.
Even walking into the stores with the holiday decorations is giving me anxiety attacks. I'd like to just go to sleep and wake up in mid-January.

I'm not yet but I usually get really depressed right before Thanksgiving and it lasts until right after New Years. This year I'm on antidepressants that are working so maybe I'll be fine.

I used to be depressed during the Christmas season, but since I have become a Christian I am looking forward to celebrating our Lord's birth. This year I will be spending these holidays with Rob, the love of my life, so I couldn't possibly be depressed.
Hold on babe, Love you and will be with you very shortly!

I'm not really looking forward to them...
I'm only 19, and I lost my mom in a car accident about a year ago and Christmas especially is pretty tough for me to get through

Its just the first week of my end of year school holiday and I'm already very depressed.
No school means no pocket money and there's nothing for me to do at home.
