I'm not a Packer fan, but I like Favre, a class act.
He's *driven*.
Pack will win.

Chiefs win. Before the season started I thought this would be a loss, but I've changed my mind. The teams that have beat KC have had really good running games and ate up the clock with long sustained drives. That's 2 things that the Packers don't do well at all. If GB stays on par with the rest of their season and passes the ball 70% of the time, Allen and Hali are going to have a field day sacking Favre. Now, we don't have much of an offense in KC but the defense has been playing really well and should dominate the game in front of the 80,000 faithful in the Red Sea. Chiefs win by 6.

With New England visiting Indianapolis this Sunday, will the Chief/Packers game even be reported on? Will we EVER know who won ANY of the other games played this weekend? Time will tell...
But you're right, great fans in both cities... good luck to whoever you're rooting for!

The only team Brett Favre hasn't beaten.
It would be nice to say that the Pack will run like they did against Denver, but we're talking about Denver's worst rushing defense. Then again, the Broncos held the Steelers rush in check. If you see the Pack mount any kind of rushing attack, then this will be a blowout victory. Favre can kill any defense off the play-action. KC may not be able to keep up offensively with GB if they start putting up points in bunches.
If GB can't run as usual, then it might be close. But I still give the Packers the nod with strong defense and a QB more concerned with not making critical mistakes. Favre will rack up yards if not many points in a low scoring game.
I expect LJ to continue to struggle against a tough GB defensive front, giving up less than 100 yards total on the ground per game. The Pack's secondary is fantastic with two great corners and a couple of good safties. The penalties were of concern on Monday, but were a rarity over the first 6 games. I see the coaches ironing that out.
KC has struggled offensively. They can't keep up if this is a shootout. They need to rely on their defense, which is a good one. They need to get pressure on Brett Favre. But I expect help for LT Clifton against DE Allen. GB's DE Kampman has 8 sacks too, along side KGB's 4.5. GB has the better line on both sides of the ball.
My prediction? GB in a crushing victory 35-10.
---------addtional thoughts----------
Tough call for me. I was a KC fan before I was a GB fan. I lived near the two towns as a kid. My childhood dream used to be seeing these two teams in the superbowl.
As for my pick, GB is really focused right now. They play better away then they do at home. They seem to feed off of crowd noise. I doubt it will make much difference this time around. They have no games coming up to distract them. KC is coming off a bye, but GB is hot coming off a spirit-lifting overtime victory at a place that's harder to play than KC.
As focused as the Packers are, the Chiefs coach is just as focused. Supposedly, he spent a lot of time in the film room during the bye week. Coach Herm Edwards seemed genuinely concerned about the Packers coming to town. I know that coaches say a lot of things to get their teams up for games, but what Edwards said sounded sincere to me. He seemed to fear the Packers. Even coming off a bye facing a team on a short week didn't lift his spirits. This is a quote from Coach Edwards about the Packers:
"It sounds like they're tired. But they're 6-1," he said. "What are they going to be tired about? Winning? They've been winning. They aren't going to be tired, I promise you that."
Green Bay has shown that they can handle any defensive rush. They've stifled the Giants defensive front and blew that team out. Favre's been sacked 12 times, but that number would be less if a couple plays hadn't been rookie mistakes and Favre hadn't just laid down or just dropped the ball for no reason. His line can handle the rush. GB throws fast and that tires out a defense, even without a running game. What the Packers are doing right now is fascinating. Even if their offense might struggle for a bit, their defense will open doors for points if they don't score outright. That will eventually lead the way for the offense.
This game is not a hard call. The only way I see the Chiefs scoring more is if the Packers give up big plays in the passing game which they have been known to do from time to time. But its not likely without a consistent running game. Maybe KC will score 17, but not much more. I'm not saying this because I'm just another Packer fan. I just see a whooping in the future for Kansas City. Sorry, Chiefs fans. Worse case scenario is that they'll only be one game behind IF San Diego beats Minnesota (not necessarily an easy call there--watch out, Chargers). The Chiefs'll have their chances to catch up.
Once again, GB 35 - 10
-------after the game thoughts-------
Final score: GB 33 KC 22
I figured GB would break 30, given the possibility of defensive turnovers or score. It just so happened that the Packers did this with the help of field goals and not so many touchdowns. Considering this, the game could have been far worse. I give a lot of credit to that tough KC defense. They put just enough pressure on Favre to force two interceptions and keep the game close into the fourth quarter. I was surprised by the points KC put up, especially considering that they only had 62 yards after the first half. But the GB defense did start to look like a tired team that came off a short week late in the game. Also, a good defense can lead to offense. And I think that is part of what happened here. And so my prediction was a bit off in that direction (5-12 points). Still, the Chargers lost up in Minnesota. So chins up, Chiefs fans. You're still in first place! Now if only those Lions would lose a few. And those Cowboys too.
