In the gutter with a bottle of Thunderbird.

Oh, you meant which baseball team? Toronto.

LA Dodgers.

Firstly, we'd never have to hear that much about him (again) due to the late-starts of west-coast games, and their next-day reporting in most east coast/online media outlets. As much as LA is a media capital -- it's a 'fair-weather' sports town is there EVER was one, and that too would help bury a $30mil per year ballplayer (which is ironic, to think about it).

Secondly, another by-product would be that Joe Torre will not have too many excuses for himself, when he fails (in this overpaid, semi retirement plan of his)... next season, other than saying he didn't expect to win the WS in his 1st year, etc. etc. Torre would love to blame the players, and the team makeup, rather than show he's an empty suit (really) and was a sub-.500 manager before AND AFTER his dream job of steering a $200 million ship.

PS - If you REALLY watched the games, reg. season and postseason.. you can see how Torre mismanages. Oldendorff relieving for Wang in Game 1 at Cleveland (really? with Mussina & Hughes on the bench?). ... benching Sheffield vs. a batting practice (for him) LHP in Kenny Rogers, only to insert Sheff as your clean-up hitter vs. the unhittable RHP Bonderman (and dropping ARod to 8th!! that same game). There's 100s more.. but, I'm just so glad to be rid of Torre at long last.

I want Alex Rodriguez to end up in the Phillies. Phillies don't really have a perfect 3rd baseman. They have a chanse to get to the world series next year, but with a-rod they have a perfect chanse. Trust me philly will love you!

I'd like for him to try and shut up his critics who say he is a choking non leader.

I like to see him take less than what what superagent and cancer Boras is seeking and go to a really bad team to try to raise them up.

Like, go back to playing shortstop ( I think it's his best position ) and play next to future Hall of Famer Ryan Zimmerman on the Washington Nationals!

But, it will be about loot unfortunately. The few teams that can afford to pay him 30 mill a year are the NY teams, Boston, LA, Anaheim, and the Cubs maybe.

My educated guess has him going to the Angels.

San Fransico. With Barry Bonds gone, he can turn into the talk of the town. Then need a drawing card anyway to fill up that stadium. I also think that Barry will go to the Angels. He's not coming to the east coast to play for the Yankees or Red Sox. He's either playing for Oakland or Anahiem. A-Rod should go to the Giants.

A place where he can settle in and and help his team to contend every year as well has a place where he will have a real shot at the Bonds homerun record.
