No it is not, it has real nice RAM but if you have a slow processor, 1.66gh/s its going to slow you down, expecially with vista on it, if you want to be able to run vista you need at least 2.1gz/s on your processor now if you were to go with xp, you could pull that off

No,
It is priced in the same range of medium spec gaming laptops (£700 - £1000) yet is not suitable for playing games on - due to the Intel graphics media accelerator 950.

If you do not want a gaming laptop then you can get a similar laptop for much cheaper that will be just as fast.

The screen size is also very small for a laptop in that price range.

I don't reccomend you buy any of the tesco laptops.

It's decent. Overall most the specs look good, although they are vary vague on other details. It has 2gb of memory which is becoming standard now. that will help with system responsiveness/speed. It also has a core 2 duo processor which helps. The only downside I see is that it uses a integrated graphics solution. If you plan to play any games then it's not a good choice. If it's just for internet and what not...it should be fine.

The below link price is cheaper.

Honestly it is a bit too ex for this type of spec.

Set back is:

No Bluetooth
Very heavy (3KG)
Lcd is only a TFT Wxga not bright view
Batt life is over rated only max 2.5hrs

Should look for sometime that is better inspecs.
And One that provide the best after sales support.
Remember buy a notebook that has 3 years warrenty.

Sony Vaios are great PCs. Just stay away from HP, Compaq, and Gateway, and you're all good.

Also check out Dells or IBM computers as well....they are all great.

I'm a mac person also....so I'm gonna throw in to go checkout apple.com....the new OS is fantastic. more and more people are switching to macs. Easy to use, reliable, and software widely available for whatever it is you need a computer for.

Do what I did, go for the best, which is of course a Macbook! They are truly amazing, not expensive for what theye are. You can now also operate Windows XP in unison with OS on the Mac. You will NEVER find better!

Without checking your link, let me say:
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Buy from a dealer who has been in business for awhile and who has a reputation for offering good support. You will regret it if you don't.
First figure out what you want to do with your laptop and what you need. Why pay for things you will never use?
