Democrats Will Win the White House in 2008
Our Country Needs Change"
Well, at least that's for sure. Too bad party politics don't work any more and people are realizing it.
1 - Healthcare is not a "Right." You cannot amend the Bill of Rights to include Health Care. If you do, you end up with Socialized medicine, which despite what Michael Moore says, doesn't work. (Edwards didn't know Cuba had socialized healthcare, fyi.)
2 & 3 - Basically the same reason said twice. It should be noted that not all Democrats are anti-war and not all Republicans are pro-war. Again, this is party politic-based, psuedo-political rhetoric.
4 - Tillman and his family have my deepest sympathies, but I hardly see how because a soldier died at war affects the outcome of an election in favor of any and all Democrats.
5 - Here I don't know enough about the issue to address it, and I will admit that. Perhaps someone else can fill this in.
6 - Global Warming...*sigh* the FUD of our generation. You know, since technology created the problem, technology can fix it. The only thing that's happening is endless amounts of money being thrown at government programs - bureaucrats profiting from everyone's fear and misunderstanding. The lead scientist on the IPCC wanted his name removed from the reports when the UN decided to "edit" them. Many other's did too.
7 - Katrina is a horrible tragedy, but this is a prime example of how a government-dependent, entitlement society works. I was in India in Mumbai (Bombay) when massive flooding - worse than Katrina occurred in 2005. Al Gore even cites the incident in his documentary. This third world nation picked itself up faster and cleaned itself up without any major Government dependencies. Within 2 days things were starting to run again. It is shameful when a 1st world nation becomes so sedentary and dependent on the Government that people no longer work to change their lives themselves.
8 - This is just misinformed. People may not be happy with the Bush camp, and yes that can be bad news for some Republicans - but have you looked at the Democrat approval ratings recently? The Democratic congress just came in at an 18% approval rating - the lowest *ever* in the history of the nation. What they did when they stole the vote was shameful.
9 - Let me go on the record and say I want Osama brought to justice and I think the Iraq war was a mistake. But most of the Democrat's plans involve bringing these terrorists and radical dictators to the negotiating table as equals. Might sound good on paper, but this is not the way to go. I don't mean to treat them worse because they still are human beings too. Bringing them to the table only emboldens them. We should, however, pull out of Iraq and go after Osama with renewed vigor.
10 - Again, you are assuming all Republicans support the war - which is simply not true.

They know what's good for you, better than you do. If they have to get the support of the uneducated and the ineligible to do what's right for you, they're willing to do it. If they have to take all your money to keep you out of mischief and prevent you from wasting it on things you want, they're willing to do it so that they can pay for the things you neither want nor need, just because they're good for you.
It becomes really simple when you realize that Democrat Senators are smarter than anyone else in America, especially people that don't know that Democrat Senators are smarter than anyone else in America.

because they don't give a crap about what Americans want. They only care about ramming THEIR agenda down our throats. The thought of handing out driver's licenses to illegal aliens sickens me. Gov. Spitzer of New York is pushing heavy for it, in spite of everyone being against it. Why? Comrade HiLiary is pulling his strings and he responds so well, like a little puppet boy. This cast of characters we have running the great blue state of NY is a nightmare. they are a bunch of catering, pandering chicken eggs, apparently all under the warm roost of the socialist queen fowl herself.
