I am going in about 4 weeks to get an ultimate massage (90 minutes) and a hand and foot treatment. I feel guilty spending that kind of money on myself especially since we are trying to buy a house. My excuse is stress relief, I get really bad migraines and my doctor can't explain it and can't seem to find medication that helps (because I get them usually 4 days per week). I think everyone deserves to go to the spa for whatever reason no explanation necessary. It is very relaxing and the last time I went I didn't have a headache for almost 2 weeks. I don't think you need to justify spending this money on yourself I am sure you deserve it :).

That's the answer. To pamper yourself. We, as women, work really hard at home, work, school, kids, sports practice, husbands, etc. So to let someone else make you feel relaxed in minutes and not to have to lift a finger for a glass of water is totally worth splurging on a $200 spa day. The ones that include lunch are even better.

As long as you can afford it and it makes you feel good, its a justifiable expense. Just dont abuse it. I am sure when you just had a kid you could use some relaxation. Just dont take advantage and go every 6 months. Thats twice a year and is really not unreasonable. You could also save up your money 10 dollars here and 10 dollars there so you don't feel the expense. I say, Go for it!

It is important to have pampering to ones body. its not a matter of being a girly girl its just your body need attention.
I am sure that as a parent & spouse your levels of stress & fatigue have risen since you were single. It is not at all bad to get a massage and get your nails done. But if your looking to save as your husband to massage you and have a girls night and due each others nails.

Thinkof it as a mini vacation for yourself, a break from the veryday and a chance to let your mind go for a short period of time. The mental break alone is worth a lot more than $200.
