I am handing in my application at Bath and Body works and I was wondering if they would not hire you by how you are dressed when you hand it in?

Dress your best every time. Ask to see the on duty manager when you turn in your application and hand the application to them personally.

By doing that, you show interest in the job and managers look at that when they look through applications for potential hires.

If you don't hear anything within a week, go back to the store (well dressed again) and ask to talk to the manager again.

Show interest in the job and 9 out of 10 times, you will get it.

Yes, because what if the person you handed in the application to, was the boss.

If you were a mess when you handed it in, do you really think they would call you back ?

Anythime you approach a business, to ask for an application or to return an application,

You should be dressed in the manner, you would dress, if you already worked there.

If someone is dressed like a bum or has tattoos or piercings and hands me a job application, it goes right in the trash.

It's always a good idea to look as you would for an interview even if merely handing in your application. It might just happen that they are available for an on-the-spot interview and I would think you'd want to take advantage of that. Good luck!
