You know i actually agree... she is a tad overated... i mean...Mickie James and Lita.. they are great! I think that Lita was underrated and i think Mickie James is underrated i mean what the hell Trish is nothing compared to Mickie James! Chyna i dont think is good at all... i never liked her as a wrestler and as a person. she just dident entertain me..Nor did Gail Kim but Molly Holly was pretty damn good.

You know.....Trish is over-rated, though on saying that, so is Lita and Chyna. Molly Holly was a great wrestler, though WWE did bury her indeed, especially with her heel gimmick. Gail Kim didn't have enough time to show off all of her skills, In TNA, She rocks right now, and she does deserve the TNA Women's Championship after her hard work.
Though, there are other women's wrestlers that I think shoudl get some credit.
1. Mayumi Ozaki - She hasen't been in WWE, Though she wrestled with Amazing Kong etc and she was a brilliant wrestler, I will always give her credit for what she did.
2. Torrie Wilson - Yes, she hasn't won a championship? So what. Torrie has been training for years, though WWE, Sort of made her get the "girl next door" gimmick and treats like mis-used talent. I really think Torrie is a great competitor if she was given a chance.
3. Madusa / Alyundra Blaze. - Great athlete, and a great women's wrestler, I just wish she was given more wins, she is amazing. Personally, here is my list for divas of all time.
1. Moolah
2. Mayumi Ozaki
3. Mae Young
4. Madusa
5. Molly Holly
6. Rockin Robbin
7. Madusa
8. Amy "Lita" Dumas
9. LuFisto
10. Trish Stratus

Well for one thing, yeah, Trish was kinda overrated, but you cannot deny that she and a couple of other Divas revolutionized the face of women's wrestling, they brought sexuality and ability to the ring in such even amounts that kept the fans (both male and female) entertained.
My Personal list of Greatest Divas (based on pure wrestling):
1. Molly Holly
2. Gail Kim
3. Mickie James (I really believe that Mickie James is a better wrestler than Trish)
4. Trish Stratus
5. Lita (she could do high risk manuvers, but she wasn't much of a pure wrestler).

I've never heard anyone claim she was the greatest diva of all time, and I'd disagree with your claim that Gail Kim, Lita, and Molly Holly didn't have beauty and skill on their sides. I think a majority of the Trish hype you're speaking of is the number of woman's title reigns she's had, and that really does say something about a superstar. The fact that the WWE felt confident enough in Trish to carry the woman's title on so many occasions means they saw her as the face of the division and era. There are a lot of factors that make me think that WWE held both Trish and Lita in high regards. They were once given a main event spot on Raw one week, and they completely delivered in their match and earned their spot on the card. To my knowledge, no other women in the WWE have been given the privilage to headline a show, and I'm sure if a majority listed were given a chance, they would've failed miserably to get the crowd reaction Lita and Trish got.
I know Trish isn't the greatest woman's wrestler ever, I'd put Mickie James over her any day, but of all the divas on the roster over the past few years, she probably stuck around the longest. She made her presence known in Albert and Test's little faction, T&A, took it upon herself to let Dave Finlay train her backstage (For those not in the know, a majority of the women in the late 90's/early 2000's were stretched by Finlay before given a spot on the roster.) and she became more than just a piece of ringside eye candy. She's probably the most bankable diva WWE has ever seen, not counting Lita as part of Team Xtreme. I think she deserves a little credit for the spot she bore for herself in woman's wrestling.

Yes she is overrated.
Greatest of all time? Trish Stratus has dramatically improved from her status as "eye candy", but she was not the best diva to exist. Even though she worked hard to improve, Trish Stratus was still not that great and still had storylines comparable to every other diva (with Jericho, Christian, Carlito, and other males).
Also, in your list, Chyna and Lita are both overrated. Chyna was an okay wrestler, but she performed moves poorly, and her wins against men were "jobs" to get her over. Lita did high risk moves, but she was sloppy to the point that she injured herself doing the moves.
Gail Kim was barely given a chance to develop, and her technical skills were lowered to the "flashy" style in the WWE, the same style you see her use in TNA. Jazz was unappealing to fans appearance-wise, though she was one of the best wrestlers the WWE had in a while. Molly Holly was similar, plus her heel gimmick didn't appeal to a lot of fans. Losing her hair buried her in WWE.
Because I don't care about getting thumbs down on this...

out of the 5 u listed 4 are over rated. only molly on ur list was that good. lita was only good cuz she was a high flyer. jazz and chyna were only good cuz they had strength and when gail was in the wwe she botched more moves than sabu. also trish is very over rated. i never thought she was the best diva ever. madusa would school her and way back in the day mae young and moolah would kill her.

Let's look at your list.
1 - Could wrestle very well before her injury. Sucked *** after. Sucked *** on the mic before and after her neck injury. Thus Trish is better than Lita.
2 - Can wrestle. Ugly as sin. Thus Trish is better than Jazz.
3 - Chyna. Could NOT wrestle. She knew a few power moves, that's it. Ugly as hell. Trish is better than Chyna.
4 - Sexy. Can wrestle. Sadly she wasn't in WWE long enough. I'd take Trish over Gail Kim based on her mic work.
5 - Best wrestler of the group. Not as hot as Trish. Thus...Trish wins this one too.

Well she was very beautiful. In some people's opinion she was physically the best, most athletic, gifted womens athlete ever in the buisness. So know one agrees on everything. She always wanted to entertain fans weather they liked her or not. And that was her job. She did her job very well, and she was very passionate about the buisness and the fans. So she didn't do moonsaults or flying hurricanrana's but she was GREAT. Don't get me wrong I am not the biggest Trish fan but she wanted fans to be happy with what she did in the ring... And most of us were very happy. I don't really think there was a best diva at all, but if she wasn't, then she is one of them.

YES!!! THANK YOU!!
Trish was never "the best". But for some reason, when people think of a good women wrestler they think of Trish! Why?? She was never an amazing wrestler! Like the people you named, they were ALL better than Trish. When I think of a great woman wrestler, I think of Molly Holly.

Boy are You just 100% correct. Trish was talented no doubt, but She just got the PR becuase She was blonde, simple as that. 90% of guys have an absolute silly fixation on blondes. But from personal experience let me tell you. Redheads and Brunettes rock My socks.
