Dear Erwbar:

Here is URLs you need for your Dell E177FP Flat Monitor. Should you have any technical difficulty which you can't solve and your LCD monitor is still covered by the warranty, kindly contact Dell Customer Support Center at your living location.

The monitor driver and included colour profile (with be installed together upon driver setup) should able assist you on configuring your LCD monitor. However, you may need to adjust monitor display settings through your PC's graphic card driver and its bundled hardware applications (e.g. Colour & Tones).

Thus, you may want to check your graphic card's driver for latest version and its hardware application configuration. Note that a NVIDIA graphic card driver can immediately load your LCD monitor's colour profile and everything will be ready for you in a few seconds.

BEST REGARDS,
Jack

Usually, the bigger the screen, the better pixel it will be. Thus, u can have better view using the bigger screen. However, it also depends on the model of a computer. However, between 17 and 19 inch flat screens, there is not much different. If, you consider buying for better graphic, opt for 19 inch (after all, the screen is for desktop, right?). But, personally, when I'm choosing for laptop, I'll prefer the smaller screen because it is easier to carry around, and lighter. However, if your dad eyes' sight is not good, obviously, you should choose bigger screen.

For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/ax87w

17" and 19" inch displays have the same resolution. A lot of people do not like the 17" because the text is just a little too small to see clearly. The extra size of the 19" is going to be better. They do not last longer, they do not look better. MAG has been producing screens for a while. I know no reason not to get one.

Hi. This is from the Dell website. http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs
It does not list a necessary driver for your display which usually means it is supported by the OS driver set.

You should not need a driver for a flat panel monitor.

The computer will already have the appropriate drivers installed for it.
