I keep reminding myself that nothing stays the same, that one day might suck but the next day could be one of the best and most memorable days of my life.

everyday living is easy...
then again I don't have money problems or kids and my job isn't really that stressful. I deal with the stress of my relationship by talking about it with my insane online friends, who always manage to give me perspective...
I guess I have met a hell of a lot of people who had lives much more worse than me so I can always remind myself how fortunate I am to have an education and live in a country where work is easy and the police aren't (very) corrupt.

You can't think about things all together.
You must break down tasks, and life's events and troubles as separate entities.
If you look at them combined, you will make yourself stressed, because your mind becomes overwhelmed thinking of everything.
Just remember, whether you stress or not, those same worries and tasks will be there still.
So it's best to take things one at a time, and try to resolved the task or situation.
20 minutes a day of meditation works as well.

I try to never bring my work home with me so that it doesn't interfere with my personal life. Exercise is GREAT, because it relieves stress AND promotes a healthy lifestyle! And one of my other personal secrets (you can keep a secret, right?) is....tanning. It gives you up to 20-25 mins. to shut off your mind and relax, maybe even take a little nap while you wait, and there have been scientific studies showing that the body releases vitamin K when you tan, which gives you a feeling of happiness. I suggest at least trying it :)

I believe in the power of positive thinking (which is also a book written by Norman Vincent Peale and there is another book titled "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne..on the same subject.) And I try to redirect my thoughts. I believe that if I think positively that God will work out the situation for me, then He is always faithful to do so! I have seen this happen for me over and over and over again. God is faithful if we believe He will be! But FAITH (or positive thinking) is the key.

Stress depends on what bothers me at the time. My remedies? 6-8 hrs of sleep nightly; playing computer games (challenging and role playing); quilting; counted cross-stitch; chatting on the web; swimming; Line Dancing and Square Dancing; gardening; just to name a few.

A morning walk is my remedy... but more important I'm happy and passionate with what I'm doing. Take stress as a form of exercise in itself.
Cheer and love life.

I'm not. I'm trying to brush everything off and not think about it too much. Keeping myself busy and come back around to those things when the right time comes and I am in a better mood.
