I was ashamed of my ex-girl friend, I thought she had an open mind, until I found out she was racist. No matter how much I cared for her, I could not stand the fact of someone judging others because of color, creed or beliefs. I hope she opened her eyes.................

Well, my hubby's ashamed that I used to be a topless dancer.
I'm ashamed because he's ashamed.
But really, I feel that he shouldn't care about anything I've ever done because all those things are what made me who I am today.
And I feel I'm pretty great. People like me. My friends and family love me.
I'm kinda proud that I actually had the guts to do it; I know alot of girls at that time who'd wanted to do it but they were scared.
Now that I've done it, I know what it is and so, when I say things, I don't have to speculate on what it MIGHT be like.
That goes for all the things I'm an "expert" in.

I have nothing to be ashamed of. I am proud of who I am. Yes I have made mistakes but mistakes are there for learning and I have learned a lot in this life. YOU? Are you ashamed?

I am ashamed of being beat up on by my abusive ex husband. I lost 1 front tooth and have scars on my face from him. Its been 20 yrs, but its still in there. I will carry the shame until the day I die.
