I want to become a RN but I'm sooo afraid of giving shots and drawing blood. Do RNs need to do these things? Are they optional?

People who work at it can overcome most fears. Many RNs don't do this on a regular basis, but it will be an unavoidable part of your training.

You want to be a nurse, but are afraid of blood and shots? Did you miss school the day they gave career information?
