I just read an article saying that if the pats keep running up the score some players may be looking to take him out with big hits or illegal hits. My question is what team do you think will be after brady the most. I mean with the intention of taking him out. I dont want to know if he deserves it i just want to know what team. Im going to say the Dolphins simply because of frustration, having nothing to lose and being 0-8 last in the division.

I agree with you. I know 90% of NFL players have class and wouldnt do that. But you have to think that one of these teams after taking a beating may let their emotions get the best of them.

Whoever takes a cheap shot at Brady would be a sore loser, and a bad sport. The inability to prevent the opponent from scoring massive amounts of points is noone's responsibility but for that defending team. After all that videotaping incident, I think I would have approaced the same method that Belichek did. Outscoring opponents and totally demoralizing them to prove that "our" or "my" team is better than what others suspect. If some other player or team takes a cheap shot at Brady, then they are retaliating to the fact that they are incapable of playing against the patriots in sportsmanship like conduct, thus they must resort to another form of violence to relieve of their stress. However, in patriots situation, they are retaliating to the fact that they desire to dissapprove of the negative glimpse the NFL has given the pats organization since the videotape incident. They have a point to prove. That they are better than what people label them, whether it'd be haters, columnists, or commentators. Again, if someone takes a cheapshot at Brady...that just proves whoever is responsible is someone of low calibur with no sense of self-respect, incapable of accepting the fact they have their own game to improve. That's in definition = a sore loser. That goes the same for all you haters. I'm not even a pats fan, I'm a proud fan of the titans, evn if VY is having struggles this year. You fans who stick up for your teams in a negative fashion only degrades the organization you root for.

I can kinda see players take cheat shots on him, basically to knock him around. I am not talking the play being over and then someone unloads on him, but rather, the ball be thrown, and the defense taking more than one step and hitting him. Of course there would be a penalty, but I could see those types of hits being made. However, the defensive players would have to get past the offensive line in order to hit him. Not many have, that is why he is able to run up the score. If the defense can break down the front line and get to him, then he will be hit. The WR's need to be covered tight, and not give Brady anywhere to go. The Linebackers need to stop the run. Blitz the heck out of him. They can be beat, and the first team that does it will probably be the same team they will face in the play offs or Superbowl.

No one likes to get embarrassed. If a player gets pissed off that the Pats are running up the score, I would not be surprised to see Brady take a late hit or cheap shot. I think anyone on the Pats could be the targeted, not just Brady.

I don't think anyone would do it on purpose, but in the heat of battle... who knows what could happen.

I think that if the Patriots keep trying to run up the score, sure it could easily happen. Its actually the olny way the players can police themselves in this area. Call it unwritten rule or whatever. Its basically just the same as a pitcher putting a fastball in the ear of someone who stood at the plate admiring a bleacher shot.

Nah, I don't think anyone is gonna try to take him out.
I mean he might get popped good by a defensive line man for still being in the game and they are down by 38 points and it is the forth qauter. But I don't think it is gonna be major just knock the air out of him.

the Dolphins don't really have anybody that classless....at least it doesn't appear that way

and I could have seen something like that happening until the media put it out there as a theory
now, guys will know that everybody's going to be watching, making sure that nobody hurts him on purpose

Its not worth it, all this means is they're jealous of his talent right now. If they use illegal hits, they'll be fined, guarented and perhaps suspended, whats the point, they just need to get better defense to stop him then.

it is kind of hard to protect him from a clothesline or a tackle from the side to his leg at the knee while his foot is planted in place
