Yes they do.
You haven't been THANKED because to acknowledge that VERBALLY and SOCIALLY would be taboo. Because you know the "official story line": men hounddogs, women choosers, girl is doing the guy a TREMENDOUS favor just by having sex with him, there is just NOTHING in it for her. Any girl who did such a thing out of a relationship would be INSTANTLY looked down upon by her friends and society at large. (And THIS is why you NEVER "ask" her to have sex, sex is something that "just happens"... and it was YOUR fault! :-)
But man, that puppy dog look on her face after sex sure as hell doesn't lie.

Its not by having sex, its enjoying GOOD sex and making sure to teach MEN how to PLease a woman sexually,
and asking openly what a man prefers sexually
Eg.. IF your having sex and you Don't FEEL your woman orgasm, then you haven't really pleased her sexually
Women still today PRETEND they are sexually satisfied, because they are too embarrased to tell their partners what they like and need, are embarrassed to masterbate infront of spouses, and don't want to disappoint their partners and make them feel sexually inadaquate
These are merely a few ways men and women are NOT sexually empowered TODAY.
As far as thanking you, well as long as you know how to make a woman orgasm , ( other than oral)
your in Good shape, but if you don't open up and share this information with others, than your still in the closet
Just MHO

I have had thoughts over sex and this in the past and have come to a simple solution. Sex is sex. There's not much else to it (I'm only talking about the physical aspect by the way.) To me, sex is independent of you gender or other aspect so the issue of power as it relates to sex is non-existence. Besides, long-term companionship is definitely not about the sex but rather about other much more important issues.

its not about empowering a women and getting thanks for it unless you are a male prostitute. Sex does not "empower" me it makes me feel connected to a person. You act like its a chore to have sex with a women....ever consider the fact your not into women?

Nope, they empower them by marrying them. What greater freedom is there for a woman than to know that a guy wants to stick by your side no matter what? Of course, I'm not really a fan of trying to find "sexual empowerment" with strangers.
