Pentium 4 systems are 32 bit

The newer Core 2 Duo systems are 64 bit.

This is a 32 bit processor. 64 bit processors are uncommon with Intel although they do offer some processors with Intel Extended Memory 64 technology, this processor is a EM64T. The most common 64 bit processors come from AMD. 64 bit processors can operate at 32 or 64 bits.

Probably 32-bit. But you can check by doing this:

1. Shut down your computer.

2. Start it back up, and open up the Bios when you see the black loading screen [it'll usually say the key to press in the top righthand corner of the screen]. the key to press to open it up is usually F12 or F8... something along those lines.

3. look around for CPU specs... it'll tell you everything you need to know.
