hi everyone, i am 25 weeks pregnant and i think i can feel the baby kick. its a sort of popping sensation mostly at the bottom of my tummy, happens alot when im sitting leaning forward at my desk and at night when im in bed. but just two weeks ago the doc said it was unlikely i was preg as he couldnt feel anything there when he examined my tummy. but i got a second opion a week later and that doc reckoned i am definatly preg as my hcg levels were high ( i think about 4000 he said). i thought id miscarried in july ,ive had no period since and its only just lately my belly has started to grow. so if i was still preg surly the kicks would be much stronger now? i am so confused as up until a few weeks ago my tummy was virtulaly flat when laying down but i noticed this small round sort of lump below my bellybutton. thats what made me go to the docs and thats when he said it was highly unlikely i was still preg after feeling my tummy.
id be greatfull for any advice.
thanks.

You need to get your doctor to do an ultrasound...you should have had one by 20 weeks.

1] if your HCG level is 4,000; then you are only 5 to 8 weeks pregnant.
2] if the doctor couldn't feel anything two weeks ago, it is unlikely you were more than a few weeks pregnant [ at 22 plus weeks, the uterus would be at least 9 and 1/2 inches long [ 22 cm. - hard to miss! ]
3] when you 'miscarried', did you go to a doctor or the hospital? Did anyone do a sonogram?
4] go to an accredited obstetrician and get an ultrasound. This is the only way to:
a] tell if you are definitely pregnant
b] how far along you are
5] meanwhile, no drinking, smoking, etc.

First of all get another opinion. high hcg levels mean something and you need to get checked out. If you did miscarry in july you could still have retained the "baby stuff" and that may be what's causing the high hcg levels. You could still be very pregnant also. Most women feel the baby for the fist time from 16-20 weeks on average, but you could definately be feeling your baby. I highly recommend seeing yet another doctor.!

I'm 16wks pregnant myself and have felt little kicks for about 3wks sometimes at the bottom of my stomach and sometimes in the middle to top, but your doc should've at least listened for a heartbeat that will definitely tell you if your pregnancy is viable. Depending on your body you may just start showing late or you may not show at all. You can always go to your local hospital if you thought you miscarried and they can do an ultrasound, check the heartbeat and do a vaginal check. Hope everything works out for you and you will be in my prayers.

What kind of doctors exactly have you been seeing? An optician that also does OB/GYN on the side or something? It seems beyond bizarre to me that you can't get a straight answer on your possible pregnancy at 25 weeks. You need to find a doctor that will do an ultrasound and get things straightened out. If you aren't pregnant it sounds like you have something else going on that needs addressing.

confident very common the child will at last kick everywhere which comprise the ribs as he grows! So appreciate it while you am i able to am 33 weeks pregnant and somedays i've got faith as though my ribs are going to interrupt from his kicks! And so a procedures as no longer with the flexibility to work out palms and feet it extremely is common too no longer all women persons get to, which sucks yet there is no longer probably something you're able to do to alter that! yet solid luck alongside with your being pregnant and congrats sweetie!!
