For example, when we were dating, my wife used to come by the house on her way home from work every Thursday night at like midnight. One night in particular, we made love through two complete playings of Fleetwood Mac's self-titled album. That album always conjures up that memory.

80s Man - There have been a lot of good times held in basements around the world while listening to that album.

James M - That's cool. I remember running out onto the field with my Middle School football team to "Wildside" by Motley Crue. The coaches obviously didn't listen to the lyrics.

Heh... Sookie, after all that Goldschlager, were there any orders to bring out the gimp?

Pink Floyd Dark Side...
I never liked Floyd in my teens or early 20's..then after working 3rd shift back in 1980....I went over to a co-workers house. We got high and drink beers at like 8 in the morning...
he cued up Dark Side on his turntable and cranked it up.
We listened to the whole album....I was in a trance...totally blown away.....I never realized what a complete work of art that album was.......I wondered on that day why I never got into Floyd......that week I bought Dark Side, Wish You Were Here and The Wall just came out so I bought that too!! All on vinyl!!
I still have those records along with 2000 others.......I've loved Floyd ever since....
So when I hear that LP...I instantly get jettisoned to 1980..in that apartment..with a Lowenbrau and a doobie in my hand.....funny..

Pink Floyd- The Division Bell (1994) I met my wife and she grew up listening to Pink Floyd. I at the time was "sheltered" and had not yet fully experienced PF and she got me hooked. That album even with no Roger Waters is special to me because we spent so many nights just chillin' listening to it. I have become a HUGE floyd fan ever since.

Good Times! Great Question!

Well, it's kind of a mixed bag of stuff but the Pulp Fiction soundtrack reminds me of one Christmas vacation in high school. One of my friends got a hold of a couple of bottles of Goldschlager. All of us spent several nights at my friend Jill's house since her parents went out of town, and drank that horrible stuff while playing that on the nice stereo system they had.

Good times, good times...

Edit: hang on, Pulp Fiction came out in '94, so it was the year after I graduated. The older you get, the more it starts to blend together...

Dope's Felons and Revolutionaries cd takes me back to a weekend when I was in high school. It was me and 4 friends and about 3.5L of voddy. We were at one of the guys' house and it was set back in the woods. Looking back on it, we were really lucky that somebody didn't end up seriously injured, because we did some dumb stuff.

jmike....no wonder you had to go to Disney !!!!!

If that is the event you are referring to......Loverboy - Get Lucky

However, Queen's News of the World was popular when I was a middle school athlete and would constantly be played at events... We ended up winning several "championships" and the album and those events are stuck hand in hand.

Worst break-up I had this year with my ex...

I'd never listened to the Deftones before, but I bought 'Around The Fur' and it helped me get all that anger & angst out, with all those heavy riffs and amazing lyrics.

Needless to say, they are now one of my favourite bands.
