NO, not for me.
I have seen some people take a regular christmas tree and hang it from their ceiling upside down and decorate it.
My brother's MIL has 2 in her house with a total of about 15 trees altogether....she goes all out for Christmas!

Actually, I have seen these, but never on a stand. They are pretty neat suspended from the ceiling. In fact, I have thought of it myself to save floor space and keep the kitty out of it.
The one you linked looks pretty cheap, but some are more realistic looking. If you're short on space, I think it would be good. They also display ornaments very well, the big ones have lots of room to hang/
