I got my period on September 12th. On Sept 20, I had sex. used a condom but we were iffy if i was safe so i took the morning after pill plan B on Sunday Sept. 23rd. (within the three day limit) i was on birth control pills but took my last one on friday, and skipped sat and sundays pill so i could take the morning after pill. My period came a week early. I started spotting on Oct 2nd, and by the 3rd of 4th it was heavier. My boyfriend and I had sex again, protected by a condom, on the 7th of Oct. My periods usually come Wednesday. and i was expecting mine on Wednesday Oct. 31 so i took a pregnancy test- first response, right when i got out of bed, it said i was not pregnant. But now it is thursday. Am i pregnant or did i just mess up my system from taking plan B? i heard the urine pregnancy tests sometimes dont work for women? what should i do? please help.

I would wait another week and take another pregnancy test. Plan B probably does mess up your system

Adequate, simply considering that you had your interval 2 days late doesn't relatively mean some thing....People's intervals come at exceptional occasions (no longer at all times the identical) but since it simplest lasted a day and was once bleeding now not spotting you then perhaps pregnant despite the fact that you used beginning manipulate. Considering the fact that beginning control would not invariably work. Wait about 2-3 weeks after which go to your general practitioner to have a scan finished to determine and notice in case you are pregnant. You could now not be, but on the other hand you probably.

Take another test. It could go either way. One too many times I've missed a period or was late due to being under stress. And seeing as you seem very worried about whether you concieved or not...that alone could be enough stress to cause you to miss your period.

On another note...I know this is a little old-fashioned, but if you are not ready to have a child...then why are you having sex? By the frequency of which you seem to have sex with your boyfriend...I am guessing (this is just a guess...sorry if I am wrong), that you are not even old enough to be financially responsible for a child much less, emotionally responsible (it sounds like you and your boyfriend are NOT living together...therefore NOT commited enough to eachother to raise an unwanted family). If you are THAT concerned about not getting pregnant...then maybe you should reconsider engaging the exact activity that will get you a result you don't want.
Sorry, for lecturing...but this question makes me worry that someday there may be yet ANOTHER child out there that is unwanted...or better yet, another parent raising their grandchild.

I agree,
Take another test - probably best to do it at the doctors. Sometimes periods do come later (or earlier) in the month depending on your body. You can always talk to a Planned Parenthood staff if you have more questions.

Take a test to see if positive or call your doctor office and ask if the morning after pill can change your period
I do not know for sure, and if you ask here, you will get as many yes's as no's. Call your doctor and ask

Good luck

dont sweat, your not pregnant. sometimes your period is off by some days, or even months. you wont have a regulated period until you are at least 18. since you were protected, you shouldnt worry so much!
