i have an Optiplex dell desktop. i know i need a caddie and drive rails but how many drive rails?? what else do i need???

Ok heres what u need. First make sure that ur hard drive is either sata or ide. Then buy the correct hard drive and the rails and maybe screws if they dont come with the rails and thats it. 1 thing to keep in mind if ur comp takes ide hard drives dont try to put a sata in there i mean u can but ur gonna have to but other parts and its really just a waste. Just buy a HDD from a recognised manufacturer...
It'll be ALOT cheaper and easier than building your own. After all, mount a single platter wrong, and your drive will fail in a very short time, taking your computer with it.
