I'm just wondering.. In my previous question someone replied that WoW has a hunter that can train animals just like Guild Wars does.

So then.. If I buy one of them, which should i get?

(First state whether to get Guildwars or WoW and then state what version. Why the hell is there so many?)

If I were you.. I'd buy WoW.. But then, like almost everyone of the 8million other addicts, I'm biased

Guildwars' greatest selling point is its price.. You pay the box-price and that's it - It's not as communal (only the cities are communal AFAIK) and though the content is great... There's a lot more to WoW

There is only one version of WoW... But there is an expansion pack 'The Burning Crusade' - Which adds a whole new continent and a couple of new races... Early next year there is another expansion due, which should do the same again (almost doubling the original content of the game)

As to all the versions of Guildwars.. Sorry, someone else is going to have to answer that - I'm no expert..

Buy WoW... and your life will be over (But in a good way)

WoW no contest more people online, the pet system is better, theres more to do, theres a huge world to explore and do quests, theres no loading every time you go on another map ,the pvp is far more greater than guild wars unless of course if you are on a buget WoW maybe not for you since theres a $14 fee monthly where as guild wars as free but hey you get waht you pay for , over all though wow is way better and in wow you can make your own guild to and go on raids against the other faction (horde, Allies)

It all depends on your life and who you would play with:

In Warcraft, you make more friends online and it is easier to get along with or without people to play with, however, in Guild Wars it is more based off of a real-life friend.

In overall gaming I would say Warcraft is better also, since they're expanding much faster, has a better gameplay, and better graphics then Guild. Large expansion coming out November next year for Warcraft, The Wrath of the Lich King).
Though the only downside about WoW are the monthly fees, but it is definetly worth it! =P

Goodluck in-game =)

...and Horde FTW

Definitely get World of Warcraft - because you have to pay a monthly fee to play it, you get much better content and better gameplay, plus free updates.

In terms of World of Warcraft, there is only the base game that is required; you can buy the expansion pack 'Burning Crusade', but unless you have a burning desire to play one of the two new races, be a jewelcrafter, or level to 70 (original cap is 60), there is no real reason to buy it. I recommend it, but it's not a necessity. The base game is around $20, so it's a good deal. Monthly fee is around $15 depending on where you live, and it's totally worth it (basically the price of a theater ticket and popcorn - and a whole lot more fun).
