Had a friendship for 16 years that since i was born with my bff.Hopefully will be friends till the end.

I don't think so. Sometimes friends aren't true friends, and therefore get weeded out so to speak down the road. I think a person is lucky to have one that sticks for years and years, because alot of people lack the integrity to be there when it inconveniences them, and thats the true friendship test.

My close friendships do. I have some fair weather friends only in for the good times but I have some cool, real close friends and I always make the effort for them no matter what and they do for me, they will be friends for life!

All of my friendships, except for....maybe one or two....didn't work out:( I miss them, obviously, but it's my fault that the friendship didn't last, and if they don't want to be my friend anymore, and if that's what they want, I'll just let them have it.....
It's sad.
But usually, all of my friendships last.....
It hurts to talk about losing a friend.
But I agree with A.J - True love lasts forever.

I've lost a contact with almost all the people I knew at school, and can't say I've made many since.
However there is one particular friend I've made at work, who far outshines the rest, and we've promised to say in touch with each other no matter what life throws at us or were we end up!

I could probably count my true friends on one hand, I have lots of aquaintances. I probably expect too much from my friends, like loyalty. Can't stand it when supposed friends call you to everyone the minute your back is turned. However my few true friends are people I can count on at all times and are worth their weight in gold.

Most of them. I have a few really good friends I met when I was really young. Some friends come and go, but the ones that stay are the ones that know me best, and we stay really close.
