"I've seen a Dying Eye"

Emily Dickinson

I've seen a Dying Eye

Run round and round a Room --

In search of Something -- as it seemed --

Then Cloudier become --

And then -- obscure with Fog --

And then -- be soldered down

Without disclosing what it be

'Twere blessed to have seen --

Eyes
by Statexofxclarity

Have you ever seen his eyes
The variety of colors he received
The secrets they keep,the lies
And I get the sense of being deceived
Those eyes show an illusion of happiness
Hiding the sorrow from my view
Behind his shield in his sadness
Felt the emotions I didn't think he knew
The eyes that once was so full of soul
Are now emptied out,seeming dead
Flushed out of color, eyes dark as charcoal
Those eyes reveal what's in his head
I looked into them so deep
Its just cold and blank with no emotion
He put his love to eternal sleep
I think he lost his sense of direction.....

His eyes show the regrets of his options
He makes himself stuck in the past
The lonely visionary tools that seek redemption
His time is running out pretty fast....

But the moment I look into his eyes
The point where I look beyond "happy"
There are the looks that I really recognize
It reminds me of my little glimpse of nonsense reality.

*his eyes tell it all...everything he's been through*

Here's one I wrote:

A Jealous Sky

Competing with the blue of your eyes
The ocean was heard to cry aloud.
And with painful, heartfelt sighs
A jealous sky hid behind a cloud.
