I'm not racist in the slightest but arent immigrants not fleeing there country for some awfull reasons. We have mosques etc but were not allowing our own people to have a christmas? Hardly any work places put up christmas trees now. If you think this is out of order star my question and post an answer.

This is our country && this is how we have celebrated christmas all our lives ... why should we have to downgrade it!

Here is something that might blow a creationist's mind, and point out how random coincidences don't make fact. Take the numbers from 1 to 26. There are only three of those numbers whose digits add up to 6. They are 6, 15, and 24. If you assign the alphabet to numbers: A=1, B=2, etc, those numbers spell: FOX. So, by Fundy Christian logic, FOX news is the mouthpiece of the Beast! Or not, since 666 doesn't really represent anything except one more than 665. You could also point out how Creationism is just as much a joke, because it relies on pointless anecdotes like this one. It has yet to put forth a cohesive theory of how Creationism is supposed to work, just "God did it", which doesn't say much. Sorry, but there is not much that shows that evolution is pseudo-science, because it really isn't. There is just too much evidence to support it. Still, it should be easy to blow the mind of a person who still thinks there is something substantive to Creationism. They are already most of the way there. It would be like trying to blow the mind of my two-year old daughter. Religion is superstition with number fixations.

We should be able to celebrate Christmas however we want to! Immigrants have been here for many years and have never had problems with it before. The ones that do should go back to their own country!
Sexy...is right. Everybody celebrates Christmas, even the non-Christians! It's about the season!

You know I have noticed it to in my office, I was raised with Christmas, New Years, etc.... . I think that it's a shame this is a major holiday to all Americans No matter what color or religion. It's getting to be where soon we won't be celebrating anything because everyone gets upset about every thing involving religions , skin color, it's all very sad that in the year 2007 people still hold prejudice and hate in there heart, this is America and we should keep our traditions . If you want to be and American well Holiday are apart of being one get with the program or do your own thing but let something remain .

Come on use your common sense, Christmas is now a money making industry for many people of many different religions, all the while its profitable no one will think of banning it for any reason.Oh bye the way a lot of immigrants are also Christians not only Muslims move here we have Jews, Buddhists, and a lot of other religions that I can't spell living hear quite happily, I repeat while Christmas makes money it will never get banned.

No ------- if immigrants choose to move to a country that celebrates Xmas or any other different beliefs then they should settle in and celebrate that counties holidays etc or go back where they come from if they don`t like it.
They would expect you and me to change to their ways if we immigrated to their country (and rightly so) so they have to do like wise.
This type of thing make the locals resentful towards immigrants ,which cause racism and disharmony

They want to downgrade christmas and they say its because immigrants can settle in - very topical but perhaps its for different reasons altogether - they have targets to meet..
Energy consumption, greenhouse gases, traffic relief, obesity figures, etc all spring to mind to me but I bet there are other reasons too.

The problems is that there are so many immigrants that we are being overtaken in our own country...the government will do and say anything that lines their pockets....This type of suggestion only creates more hate towards those who are offended!

If one wants their own Belief System respected and tolerated then this person needs to respect and tolerate other Belief Systems in return. I have long been in favor of " the de -commercializing " of Christmas Gift Giving and getting back to " the real reason for the Season. " But what I do is my business and no one elses just like what they do is none of my business.

im not raceist either but it is startin to be a joke .... they moved to are country they try and stop our holidays ... places have gotta stop puttin up trees ... when they work some wont sell alcohol they make customers go to another till and some wont even sell some meats... they want to make being gay igeal again cause its againts their religon...they moved to out country yes we should build them their mosques etc but dont change our life style and what we have been brought up with.
