After what they did last week @ Penn St, it made me open my eyes a little wider to what they're doing his year. We'll see in the weeks to come if indeed they are for real.

Who is the CRACKHEAD that thinks BC is number 1? The ACC is even worse than what the big 10 is this year. And all you SEC band wagoners can eat crow too! SEC isn't even as good as the PAC 10 this year. Remember how 3 years ago we were all flipping out how the PAC 10 is terrible and USC is overrated because they play in a week conference?! The fact is the Big10 is historically a good conference (one of the best) just like the SEC, and PAC 10. If you win out in one of those conferences you are good and in with BCS you will likely play in the championship game. That being said: OSU must still beat three descent to very good teams. If they can do that they still wont get any respect. If Arizona St., BC, or Kansas win out and lose to OSU in the Championship people still wont give OSU any credit. People are upset that their team is not number one and not too many people, me included, expected the Buckeyes to be that good this year. I say let the games be played and lets see what happens. Go Bucks!

I don't know about "by far" dewd.
I will give the Buckeyes credit for the time being. I expect them to go 12-0 this regular season. But I won't be a big time believer until they knock off a Pac-10 or SEC power in their bowl game.
Last night, on a Charlotte radio sports show, Kirk Herbstreit (former OSU QB) emphasized how motivated the team is after what happened last year, and that they have a strong desire to prove everyone wrong. He's like an insider, so he knows. I'll acknowledge that may help them this season, in addition to having a month to prepare for their bowl opponent. But again, let me see them knock off, say, Oregon, or LSU in Jan.

Do you think you could get that bar high enough to play a ranked team for once?

these southern rednecks keep getting more and more sad, I don't know why their mom/sister & dad/brother didn't teach them sportsmanship, the SEC may have the worst fans in all of college football they are obnoxious and not that smart.
I'm not saying the Bucks have the toughest schedule or that they don't have alot to prove they have plenty to prove, but that's why they play the game to be given the chance to prove it, so SEC fans need to stop being such whiny little punks
GO BUCKS!!

I would have to say the Buckeyes are the best azz kissers in the country. How else do you get a No. 1 ranking with that weak schedule.
