if iran make nuclear weapon will they bomb anyone?

it will be very suicidal since israel and all western countries have nuclear weapons, and i persume it cant be carried around in a bag to do an act of terrorism is that right?then why this cry for war...?it will destroy the world economy

With respect to A.Mercer, 9/11 had nothing to do with Iran. Just because they are Muslim doesn't automatically make them 'Al Qaeda'.

But in truth, it has been estimated that it would take Iran approx 7-8 years to make a nuclear bomb.. then even if they did, it would be suicide as you say because the US/Israel would flatten the country within minutes (if Iran attacked)

I don't believe they are going down that route at all.. I think it is just propaganda along the lines of 'Saddam is trying to get WMDs!! We must bomb Iraq!!' a few years ago.

That said, I still don't understand why Iran won't co-operate. Why not just stop enriching the uranium?? Then you won't have the threat of your country getting bombed at all?!? It doesn't make sense to me.

The problem is if a religous zealot got hold of a nuclear bomb and believed that if he started the war then he would be rewarded in the afterlife.

If you look at the 9/11 attacks from the viewpoint of consequences, it seems like a very bad idea. However, the terrorists still did it.

I am not saying that 9/11 had anything to do with Iran. I am just using it as an example of someone doing an act that results in horrible retaliation to their own people. They did it and there was no way that they could have thought that there was not going to be retaliation. The same will happen if a person who is not stable gets hold of a nuclear weapon. That person will use the weapon and not consider the repurcussions. I am not saying that 9/11 has anything to do with Iran.

Nobody knows for sure. Hell, nobody knows for sure that they are even attempting to make one.

Only 9 countries are known to have nuclear weapons. Pakistan is one of them and when they were attempting to obtain that technology, people saying the same hyperbole about them having the weapon that they are saying about Iran today. All of the saber rattling about Pakistan turned out to be 100% false just like today's saber rattling will likely turn out to be false about Iran.
