Not finding the chewing gum until it's all over the dryer?
Finding bits of tissue throughout the clothes in the washing machine and clogging the dryer screen?
Realizing that the coins you find don't compensate you for the frustration?
Finding that those new jeans have dyed the dryer drum blue?

I hate the fact that I live in an apartment and have to use coin washers and dryers. Oh for the good old days when I had my own house and laundry could be done whenever I wanted to do it. Midnight, early morning, whenever. People here are pretty good though about cleaning out the filter, etc. If they didn't, they would hear about is soon enough from somebody.
And yes, in the olden days I did, by accident, leave something red in the washer and my husband's socks & underwear came out pink. I think a lot of people have done this.

Those things are aggravating and also the red dye turning things pink. When I've left a piece of paper or list I need in my pocket and wash it and it's ruined. I don't like when the washer gets 'off balance' and shakes the whole house or when I drop something behind it or the dryer and can't reach it. Gee, I always liked doing laundry, didn't know I had so many woes about it. LOL

I just hate that it's never ending!! I'll do laundry all weekend, get all the clothes folded and put away and feel great - then I'll walk into the bathroom and find a basketful of more dirty clothes from my kids! And I hate it when I put a load of clothes into the dryer and then somehow forget to turn the dryer on! Then, I go back later to take them out and to put another load in and they're still all wet! I hate that!

Finding something has twisted and ripped because a button decided to make an escape for it down the little drainage hole in the door seal and getting stuck.

Discovering that while my back was turned, something small and blue found it's way into the machine and turned my whites a dingy grey. If the 'thing' had been red I wouldn't mind so much but that grey looks so unwashed!

Crayons in the dryer when the kids were small. Red towels in with my white blouse before he learned how to seperate. Missing socks all the time. Kids who cant turn shirts and socks right side out before putting in the basket. And those blasted tissues.

Oh man! The tissue and the blue dye thing. I absolutely hate that!!! Another one is when the towels that have frayed and bits of the yarn are tangled and twisted into other stuff in the dryer.

Finding things that your grandkids hid in the dryer - only after you have completed drying a load of laundry. One time my grandson hid some chocolate in the dryer from his brother, and forgot about it. Guess who found it.

Tissues & pieces of paper left in pockets are the pits. I usually check the pants pockets, but sometimes I'm in a hurry, & forget to. Boy, do I end up paying for that one!!!!!
