If you could get any kind of plastic surgery you wanted, what would you have done?

I don't know if I'd ever get it... I'm still pretty young so I haven't found anything that wrong with me yet, lol.

Nothing yet. After watching Nip/Tuck, I don't want any. It can get so shallow and degrading to women.

But never say never. If I'm 60 and I have a turkey neck, I might change my mind.

I have thought about it. I am almost 25, and am pregnant for the third time. My husband and I have both talked about it, and after we are done having babies, then we have decided that yes, it could happen in our future. I don't want to do anything drastic, though. I will work my butt off first to lose weight in a natural healthy way, and to get my body back on track, but after that, I plan on getting some sort of reduction surgery/ lift for my chest, and maybe a bit of a skin removal for my left over baby tummy that I know I will end up with. But other than that, my face will stay my face barring some horrible accident in which I would need reconstructive surgery. I am actually quite content with who I am, and I'm not even looking to lose my stretch marks from our babies. I'm simply looking to lose extra skin that doesn't need to be there. I wouldn't cheat and let surgery lose weight for me, and I refuse to have anything done that will alter who I am enough so that my friends are like, "Wait, huh?" My husband loves me the way I am. I love me the same way, too. So even if I didn't ever end up getting surgery done, I'd be fine, too. Although, for the record, too, I would also probably not get it done in the states. Many foreign countries are cheaper, with better doctors, and they have the same plush recovery centers, just in much better tropical/seaside locales. Above all, you should be happy with who you are. Just remember that!!!!

Many people have the mistaken belief that plastic surgery got its name because it involves the use of some sort of plastic or other manmade material, when in fact, the term plastic surgery comes from the Greek word "plastikos," which means to mold or to shape. By the way, the first published use of that word was by German surgeon Karl Ferdinand von Graefe (1787–1840), one of the pioneers of plastic surgery.

No, definately not. I think plastic surgery is bad for us as a society. I encourages people who dislike things about themselves to shell out money and change them instead of dealing with the emotional implications of WHY they are unhappy.

A person who is afraid they are ugly, and can't be content with who they are will never be permanently contented with their alteration. Each plastic surgery is a short term fix for a long term problem. You can never just walk away, and often if you have enough money at your disposal, too many alterations later...

well, your nose may end up like Michael Jackson's.

I think we're overlooking the need to deal with our own insecurities, and the need to learn to love ourselves. I don't think a new face is enough healing for those who are uncomfortable in their own skins. I think the problem runs far deeper.

Nope.I have small breasts but I don't care,as soon as I am healthy I don't want and need plastic surgery.Unless I had an accident or anything that would lead me to have a plastic surgery.

I don't know about plastic surgery as in your whole entire face, but I'd get a brow lift.
