I'm concerned about my husband. He seem to be tired all the time. He sleep at night for about 9 to 10 hours and some days he has a nap for 2 to 3 hours. I'm concerned and worried about how tired and how much he sleep. Is it normal for the amount he gets. He 32 years old and average weight.

Hi there babe. Your husband sounds depressed. Sleeping for a total of 11 to 13 hours is way too long for a young man. Get him to his doctor for a good physical and a referral. Good luck! God bless u

When I get depressed I sleep a lot. Could he be depressed?

Other than that, some people just need a lot of sleep. I need 9 hours a night (not that I ever get it) to be fully rested. My husband would sleep 9-10 hours too if he were able.

So 9-10 doesn't sound like a problem.

idk if his job is just really demanding or if he has a problem (physically or mentally), but I would see the doc and have some blood tests and see a psychiatrist if necessary if he is depressed...better to make sure everything is ok for peace of mind or if there is somethng wrong, it is better to get to whatever it is now rahter than later when things can get worse. good luck. hope everythings ok.

It could be sleep apnea, a thyroid problem, and many other things. Have him go for a check up.
