Somebody called me?

Alright. The extremist reaction to De Gaulle was that of the OAS (organisation de l'armée secrète), a secret organization within the French army, supported by the extreme right, but not only (some of its members were former resistants to the Nazis during WW2). They were supported by many French people in Algeria itself (either the descendants of the colonists or the Jewish people who had been living there for centuries and who had become French). Their plan was to take over power in Algeria so that De Gaulle's plan for de-colonization would fail. Their action was violent and murderous (bomb attacks, both in Algeria and in France) and it changed French people's attitude towards Algeria in the sense that they wanted to be rid of it as soon as possible and they supported the peace plan and decolonization. Several leaders of the OAS were tried and executed and many spent several years in prison.
You should read the historian Benjamin Stora. For an inside story, read Helie Denoix de Saint Marc, who was a former hero of the French resistance and who joined the OAS. I don't know if he is translated into English.
