jesus, people, it wasn't the pledge. it was the national anthem, which you are NOT required to have your hand over your heart for, as athletes do not at their games, etc.
and what is the deal with the name? does that SERIOUSLY make any difference? i mean, do you people trash-talk Giuliani because he shares a first name with Rudolph Hess, Hitler's deputy, arguably worse than anybody with the name Hussein?
it's like watching sixth-graders.

Yes , a friend sent me the photo in an email just the other day.
THE DEMOCRATS' POSTER BOY IN ACTION .... HOW TRUELY SAD THIS IS FOR AMERICA
Inspect Senator Barack Obama, Governor Bill Richardson, Senator Hillary Clinton and Ruth Harkin stance during the national anthem.
Note the Barack Hussein Obama's photo (remember now, that is his Full name).
The article said he REFUSED TO NOT ONLY PUT HIS HAND ON HIS HEART DURING THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, BUT ALSO REFUSED TO SAY THE PLEDGE!!!!!
No, how in the hell can a man like this expect to be our next Commander-in-Chief or Next in Line for that position????

I did not see the picture or read it. However, if what you say is true, then I would not vote for Mr. Obama. I am interested to see if it were a "fluke", for example, since I am hearing impaired, I once did not prompltly stand and salute because it took me a while to realize the it was the national anthem.

A still photo doesn't tell the whole story. Does it contain sound? No. Maybe he put his hand over his heart once the allegiance started, while the others did before.
Smear tactic.
It tells more about you than it does Obama.

I Haven heard that. It doesn't sound right. Must be a rumor because if you are gonna run for president you had better pledge allegiance to the flag.

Yes and it was true. Maybe that's why the liberal media NEVER uses his full name - they leave out HUSSEIN. Hillary the queen wanna be didn't either.

I never liked the pledge. Even as a child, I thought it felt too much like brain-washing.
